Beau

Beau came to us in February through a partnership with a county animal control officer. His hooves had not been trimmed in years and he was severely underweight.

Today he stands quietly for the farrier, has put on more than a hundred pounds, and has started accepting gentle grooming. Beau will likely become a permanent sanctuary resident due to his age and ongoing hoof care needs — but we are committed to giving him the comfortable retirement he was denied.
