Ranger
A founding member of the herd. We lost him peacefully in late 2025.
Ranger was the second donkey we ever rescued, and the soul of the place for five wonderful years. He had a habit of stealing hats off volunteers and parading around the paddock with them.
We said goodbye to Ranger in November 2025. He is buried under the oak tree at the top of the south pasture, where he liked to stand and watch the sun come up.
